The festival
The aim of the Divino Jazz Festival has been, since its first edition, to recreate the ambience of an open-air jazz club, where seeing and feeling, listening and tasting merge into one emotion. This fifth edition will take place from 18 to 21 September 2008 at the Ex Molini Marzoli, one of the most fascinating sites of Torre del Greco.

The September event is part of “Circuito jazz Provincia di Napoli” and was presented at the Milan Tourism Exchange among the “Great Events Regione Campania 2008" last February. DiVino Jazz does not only offer evening events, but proposes the idea of a cultural village “Around Wine and Jazz” with tastings, meetings, workshops, conferences and presentations of books. This year the village will also host eight concerts, ten contemporary dance companies, two theatre companies, photo exhibitions, short film showings, painting exhibitions. It has been estimated that about 5000 people attended the festival in each of the past editions, with a high-profile cultural target. The Festival is organised by “La Bazzarra”,

who have been organising events, concerts and theatre performances since 1991 under Gigi Di Luca as Art director.
